Description

The “other” Monster

A huge man, his massive build and Boris Karloff’s reticence to continue to play monsters, helped him break into the horror picture genre of the 1940s. Strange made his monstrous debut in House of Frankenstein, quickly followed by House of Dracula . He also played the creature in the cult horror/comedy classic Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein as part of the monstrous trio alongside Bela Lugosi's Dracula and Lon Chaney, Jr.'s Wolf Man. Rare 8.5 x 11 paperstock composite photo of Strange in his most famous film roles, including Frankenstein, the Mad Monster, and The Maniac, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint “To Roger, Glenn Strange, Gunsmoke 1972.” By each image, Strange has written the film’s name. In fine condition. Rare in any form. R&R COA.
