Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Delaware (1734–1817) who later served as Revolutionary War officer, delegate to the Continental Congress, and Governor of Pennsylvania. Partially printed DS on vellum, signed “Tho. M:Kean,” one page, 19.75 x 12, December 10 [circa 1801]. A document granting a parcel of land called New Park to James C. Fisher. The embossed paper seal remains intact above the signature. In very good condition, with scattered soiling, a few faint stains, and trimmed edges.
