Magnificent and bold vintage fountain pen signature, “Best wishes, Charlie Chaplin,” on an off-white 6 x 4.5 album page, dated 1931, and bearing a small clipped photo of Chaplin at top. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from James Spence. In fine condition, with horizontal crease near bottom, affecting nothing, scattered light toning and punch holes to left edge. Interesting to note that when the film opened on January 31, 1931, Albert Einstein joined Chaplin at the theater. When the film opened in England, George Bernard Shaw joined him. PSA/DNA Auction LOA and R&R COA.
