Printed airline menu from the “Kennedy Special,” 4.25 x 7, July 17, 1960, signed and inscribed on the cover in ballpoint, “To the Corwin girls, Best regards, John Kennedy.” The Los Angeles–to-Boston “Kennedy Special” flight took place two days after JFK accepted the Democratic presidential nomination in Los Angeles. The menu has been attractively and permanently encased in a Lucite display slab measuring 10 x 8 x 1. A hint of subtle toning and encapsulation as noted, otherwise fine condition.
