In part: “I have been advised of the safe arrival in Dearborn of the old coach which belonged to your grandfather, William Colgate. I understand this coach to be a fine type of closed vehicle and, with its many unique features, will make an interesting example for our transportation exhibit. I am much pleased you have passed this conveyance and the account of its history on to us for safe-keeping.” A few mild wrinkles, otherwise very fine, clean condition.
