Appointing the Ambassador to Costa Rica

Partially printed DS, one page, 17.25 x 14.75, November 5, 1917. A document appointing Stewart E. McMillin as Class Eight Consul to Costa Rica. Matted and framed together with a related 1920 document signed by Costa Rican President Julio Acosta to an overall size of 27.5 x 38.5. In very good condition, with scattered staining affecting appearance, wrinkling, a few small tears, and folds (one touching signature) to Wilson document, and folds, faint staining, and somewhat light signature to Acosta document. LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA. Oversized.
