Description

Scarce Harrison sight draft beautifully presented

Scarce manuscript DS, signed “W. H. Harrison,” one page, 7.5 x 2.75, January 4, 1827. A sight draft, drawn on the “Bank U.S. at Washington,” ordering the payment of $11.00 to Mr. Clark. Shadow box framed with a gold-inlaid, sterling silver portrait plate issued in a limited edition by the Franklin Mint in the early-to-mid 1970s, to an overall size of 18 x 23. In very good condition, with neat cut cancellation (well away from signature), a few tiny holes and tears, and scattered light staining (mainly at edges; a few very faint spots lightly touching signature). The signature itself otherwise remains bold, dark, and clear. LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
