Original vintage program from the 1937 World Series between the New York Yankees and the New York Giants, 9 x 11, signed on the inside and cover in pencil by fourteen members of the New York Yankees and New York Giants. Signed inside in pencil by their photos and biographies by Lou Gehrig, Monte Pearson, Left Gomez, Myril Hoag, Pat Malone, Charles Ruffing, George Selkirk, Art Jorgens and Don Heffner. Signed on the cover in pencil by Yankees Pat Malone and one other. Giants signing inside by their photos and biographies are Wm. H. (Bill Terry), Harry Danning, Gus Mancuso. First inside page bears four ballpoint notations. In very good condition, with light bisecting vertical fold, scattered light wear and soiling to covers and scorecard partially filled in. The 1937 World Series featured the defending champion New York Yankees and the New York Giants in a rematch of the 1936 Series. The Yankees won the series in five games for their second championship in a row and their sixth in fifteen years. This was their sixth world title, breaking a tie they shared with the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Athletics for most championships (who each had five).
