Commemorative airmail postal cover with an ink-stamped cachet honoring two altitude records set on April 14, 1936, addressed to an employee of Sikorsky Aircraft, 6.25 x 3.5, signed in ink, “Boris Sergievsky” as pilot and “I[gor] Sikorsky” as observer. Accompanied by three similar unsigned postal covers commemorating other records broken by Sikorsky. In very good condition, with allover light toning to covers and pinholes and a few spots of skinning to signed cover, slightly touching signatures. R&R COA.
