Stephens, M.C. of Ga., [illegible], Liberty Hall, Crawfordville, Georgia, Ho. of Rep., 5 May 1879,” on a lightly lined off-white 5 x 3 slip; 2) ANS, signed “JHW” [Union General John H. Wilder], on a lightly lined blue 4 x 2.25 slip, no date. In full: “Provost Marshall [sic] will permit M. Blair to remove to barrels of cider vinegar from the central depot.” In very good to fine condition, with vertical fold and chip to blank corner of Stephens, and wrinkling and folds to Wilder.
