Original folding 3.75 x 7.75 program from the “Pilgrimage of Delegates and Guests, International Civil Aeronautics Conference … to Commemorate the Twenty-fifth Anniversary of the First Flight of an Airplane Made by Orville Wright,” Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, December 17, 1928, boldly signed on the cover in fountain pen, “Orville Wright” and “Amelia Earhart.” Matted and framed together with an unsigned photo of both aviators to an overall size of 14.25 x 20.25. Among the scheduled activities at the event was the inspection of the research laboratories at Langley Field, the laying of the cornerstone of the Wright National Monument, the unveiling of the memorial at the site of the first flight, and a “North Carolina barbecue and turkey dinner.” In fine condition.
