Signed book: RN: The Memoirs of Richard Nixon. First edition. NY: Grosset & Dunlap, 1978. Hardcover with dustjacket, 6.75 x 9.5, 1120 pages. Signed and inscribed in ink on a front blank, “To Helen Boehm with deep appreciation for her superb contribution in making the White House and our home more beautiful, from Richard Nixon, 5-11-78.” Boehm was the cofounder of the Boehm Porcelain Studio in Trenton, New Jersey, which earned wide renown for its fine decorative figures. Nixon presented a number of Boehm creations as state gifts during his historic trip to China in 1972. A few small chips and tears to jacket, otherwise fine, clean condition.
