Partially printed souvenir sheet presented to Academy Award–winning director Norman Taurog, one page both sides, 9 x 12.25, signed by approximately twenty-five cast and crew members from Taurog’s 1948 film Words and Music, a musical biography of the famous songwriting team of Rodgers and Hart. The signers range from the film’s stars to the hairdresser and script girl. Among the more prominent personalities: Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney (“Love ya!”), Betty Garrett, Mel Tormé, Jeanette Nolan McIntryre, Ann Sothern, Tom Drake, Marshall Thompson, Perry Como, Janet Leigh, Clinton Sundberg, producer Arthur Freed, and multiple-Oscar-winning cinematographer Charles Rosher. In fine condition, with a hint of mild toning and soiling, tape stains to blank left margin, and a few signatures touching one another. R&R COA.
