Leather-bound visitor’s book commemorating a “Visit of Their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Wales to Warrington, 30th May 1984,” 10.25 x 8.5, signed on the first, unlined page in black ink, “Diana” and “Charles.” The remainder of the book includes a sprinkling of various British and Irish entertainment and political personalities, several signatures to a lined page, including Helen Shapiro, Humphrey Littleton, George Melley, Jon Pertwee (former Dr. Who), Jonathan Morris, Sue Johnston, Peter Baldwin, Thelma Barlow, Ken Dodd, Michael and Cheryl Barrymore, Helen Worth, Sarah Lancashire, Barbara Windsor, Sally Whittaker, and “Mo” Mowlem. The consignor notes that she originally obtained the Charles and Diana signatures at the event named above, during which the royal couple unveiled a sculpture at a retail property of which the consignor was director; the other signatures were obtained on later visits by other notables. Accompanied by a program from the same event, as well as two unsigned photos of the original recipient meeting Charles and Diana. In very good condition, with water spot to Charles' signature resulting in blotting and running of ink. Diana’s signature is large, dark, and unaffected. LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
