Looking forward to visiting the country where he would die in a fatal crash

Scottish two-time world champion Formula One driver (1936–1968) who died in a crash during a race in Germany. TLS, one page, 8.25 x 11.75, Clarksport Limited business letterhead, March 18, 1966. Clark writes to Mr. and Mrs. Bollen in Germany. In full: “Thank you very much indeed for the Auto-Jahr books and also the book of photographs of my visit to your home. I am looking forward to meeting you again when I next come to Germany.” Wrinkling, toning, and small tear to top edge, file holes, and light mailing fold through signature, otherwise fine condition.
