Cicotte was the pitcher who threw the first pitch of the World Series, intentionally hitting the batter to signal the gamblers that the “fix” was in. Return address and signature, “Eddie V. Cicotte, 31540 7 mile, Livonia, Mich.,” on a 3.5 x 2 clipped slip. Panel bears three postage stamps at bottom. Address panel is also housed in a plastic James Spence authentication holder.
