American frontiersman and entertainer (circa 1845–1917) best known for his famous Wild West Show. Ink signature, “W. F. Cody, ‘Buffalo Bill,’” on an off-white 4 x 2 slip. Matted and framed with a reproduction photo to an overall size of 9.25 x 11.25. Some very faint and unobtrusive staining, otherwise fine condition. R&R COA.
