TLS signed “A. Einstein,” one page, 8.5 x 11, blind-embossed personal letterhead, November 4, 1946. Einstein writes to James Green of the Chicago Daily News. In full: “Thank your for your kind offer. Unfortunately, I am not able to spare the time to write the desired contribution for your paper.” A few light creases and wrinkles, and intersecting mailing folds, otherwise fine condition.
