A somber scene as Truman, Ike, LBJ and their wives sign following the funeral of Eleanor Roosevelt

Vintage glossy 10 x 8.25 New York Times photo of John F. and Jacqueline Kennedy, Harry and Bess Truman, Dwight and Mamie Eisenhower and Lyndon Johnson attending the graveside services of Eleanor Roosevelt, signed at the top in black ink and felt tip by Harry and Bess Truman, Lyndon B. and Lady Bird Johnson and Dwight D. and Mamie Doud Eisenhower. Top of image also bears five U. S. postage stamps, one each of the presidents and one of Mrs. Roosevelt, as well as a First Day of Issue stamp and a May 29, 1967, Brookline, Massachusetts postmark. Accompanied by a photocopy of the Times newspaper account of the funeral, which bears the photo and letters from Mamie Eisenhower and Lyndon B. Johnson acknowledging the photo, although Johnson thought it was Sam Rayburn’s service. In fine condition, with a few scattered light surface marks, light vertical crease to right side through Eisenhower and a few small corner creases. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
