Karloff takes out a year’s lease on Suite 91 in the Dakota apartment building for a yearly rent of $2,760 (an amount that would probably cover about three days at 2006 rates). Karloff also strikes out one line of the printed provisions and adds his initials, “B. K.” In fine condition, with usual folds, a touch of scattered soiling, and staple holes. R&R COA.
