The result was a consulting service, S. G. S. Associates, with Gambino charging $40,000 per session. Business check drawn on his “labor consulting” firm, SGS Associates, 8.25 x 3, filled out in another hand and signed by Gambino and countersigned by his partner George Schiller, payable to Cash for $600.00, July 28, 1964. Check is endorsed on the reverse by Henry Saltzstein. In fine condition, with a light bisecting vertical fold, cancellation holes to body and a clean signature area.
