Lot of two TLSs, each signed “Eleanor Roosevelt,” personal letterhead, 1956, regarding a work of art titled “Warthog.” In part: “I do not have any collection of art objects, and I fear that I do not know this particular piece, ‘Warthog.’ If you could send me a description of the piece I could ask my sons and it is possible that I may have given the piece to one of them.” In fine condition, with usual mailing folds, staple holes, secretarial notation to one, and mild toning.
