Description

DS, one page, 7.75 x 12, February 8, 1646. Rare handwritten manuscript, in which the Parliamentary Committee of Lords and Commons for the Admiralty advises that a frigate under the command of Captain Biddall, which is in the port of Portsmouth to be fitted with supplies and provisions. Signed at the conclusion in black ink by Earl of Warwick, signed “Warwick,” Alex Bence, John Roller and two others. In good condition, with paper loss to top and right edge, scattered toning and soiling, fragile horizontal folds and a few partial fold separations. R&R COA.
