In full: “Be so good as to pay General Knox on order five hundred dollars in fifteen days & charge it to me.” Matted with a nineteenth-century portrait engraving to an overall size of 9 x 12. In very good condition, with mild toning and soiling, folds (one through signature; tiny edge separations), and light show-through from writing on reverse. R&R COA.
