American statesman and lawyer who, among other accomplishments, was a three-time Democratic presidential candidate, served as Wilson’s Secretary of State, and participated in the celebrated Scopes “Monkey Trial” of 1925. Vintage 4 x 5 magazine photo affixed to a 6.25 x 9.5 sheet, signed and inscribed on the sheet in fountain pen, “Bryan to Rice, from friend to friend, Yours truly, Williams Jennings Bryan, Miami Fla., Nov 27—1912.” In very good condition, with a few light folds (one tiny separation), light toning, and a few faint water spots.
