Lot of three items: TLS signed “Charles E. Hughes,” June 24, 1924, regarding his involvement in the Harding Memorial Association; TLS signed “Wm. J. Brennan, Jr.,” April 23, 1981, refusing an invitation; and a black ink signature, “Clarence Thomas,” on an engraved 6 x 4.5 personal Supreme Court correspondence card. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope for the Brennan letter. In fine condition, with usual mailing folds to letters, small hole to blank portion of Hughes letter, and secretarial stamps and notations to Brennan letter. R&R COA.
