Lot of six items: bank check, January 15, 1914, signed “Florence Kling Harding”; ink sentiment and signature on a 5 x 2.5 slip, “With love—affectionately yours, Helen H. Taft”; engraved card of thanks, signed “Bess W. Truman”; commemorative postal cover featuring a cachet of Richard Nixon, signed “Pat Nixon”; correspondence card with an illustration of the LBJ ranch, signed “Lady Bird Johnson”; and a TLS on White House letterhead, November 6, 1934, declining an invitation from Connecticut Governor Wilbur Cross, signed, “Eleanor Roosevelt.” In fine condition, with cut cancellation and bank stamp to Harding check (the latter touching signature), irregular edges to Taft slip, and paperclip impression and toning from previous framing to Roosevelt letter.
