The last ruler of a united Spain and the Holy Roman Empire, he fought France to conquer the New World. A devout Catholic, Charles supported the Church and signed the Peace of Ausburg. Untranslated Latin document issued during the rule of George V, with intact seal on reverse and a countersignature at bottom.
