Partially printed DS as President, one page on vellum, 15.75 x 10, January 4, 1831. Jackson grants David Morrow of Pickens County, Alabama, just a bit over eighty acres of land. The document bears its original paper seal and is boldly signed at the conclusion in black ink, “Andrew Jackson” with the countersignature of Elijah Hayward, Commissioner of the General Land Office. Presidential documents of this era are very seldom encountered in such a fresh, appealing state! Two vertical storage folds a small hole (not affecting any text), otherwise crisp, bright, and very fine. COA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
