ALS signed “Edison,” one page, 5 x 8, no date. In full: “Fagan - Why not provide a Tinsmith Cutter & have your flake sheet men trim edges up to the lime & save flake. They trim in a crude way with small shear & waste a lot of it. ‘Zulu’s.’” In fine condition, with small nicks to left edge, a staple and staple holes in upper left corner. In 1879 there was a Zulu uprising against British rule. Perhaps this is a vague reference to that uprising? R&R COA.
