Self-educated black scientist who became a recognized expert on botany, most notably relating to the cultivation and practical uses of the peanut. AQS on an off-white 5 x 3 page, dated January 26, 1933. Carver writes, “In all the ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths. Geo. W. Carver, Tuskegee, Ala.” In fine condition, with collector’s typed notations to bottom, punch holes to left edge and unobtrusive mounting remnants to two edges. R&R COA.
