Congratulatory wire from Sir Maurice, Whyte & Bramson”; a check payable to Whittle for $10.00, dated Jan. 30, 1984 and endorsed on the reverse; a photocopy of the handwritten transcript detailing the events of April 12, 1937, hand-titled and signed “An historic page from the Diary of Flight Lieutenant F.
