Extremely elusive document signed by the one-man revolution who changed the course of scientific thought

English physicist, mathematician, and astronomer, widely regarded as the most influential figure in the history of science, whose ideas and discoveries, including calculus, the laws of gravitation and motion, and observations on the nature of light and optics, earned him a place among the most profound geniuses in the history of mankind. Very scarce DS clipped from a larger sheet, written in another hand and signed “Is. Newton,” one page, 6 x 2, “April 1702.” A receipt for “the sum of fifty eight pounds fourteen shil. and twopence half penny In full of the above order….” In fine condition, with the document partially affixed to a larger slip, light toning, and a few very faint spots, no faults touching the clear signature.
