TLS as president signed “Jerry Ford,” one page, 6.5 x 8.75, White House letterhead, November 24, 1976. Letter to columnist Phil Love, written less than a month after losing to Jimmy Carter. In part, “It has been a tremendous honor to serve the people of our great Nation and I will never forget this wonderful privilege that has been mine.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. Bisecting horizontal fold and some scattered light foxing due to adhesive residue on reverse, otherwise fine condition. R&R COA.
