But at the time you have named I shall be so engaged in the necessary preparations for the meeting of Congress that even the brief absence from Washington which an acceptance of your kind invitation would require is not possible.” In fine condition, with light even toning, usual mailing folds, and a few narrow strips of adhesive residue, well away from any writing.
