Hand addressed panel, 4.75 x 2.5, addressed in Dicken’s hand to “W. C. Macready, Esquire, 6 Wellington Square, Cheltenham.” Panel bears a postage stamp and an 1861 cancellation mark, as well as a notation to top reading “Autograph of C. Dickens given me by W. Macready.” Panel is affixed to a slightly larger card, which is in turn affixed to a 6.75 x 5.5 blue sheet. In fine condition, with a light bisecting vertical fold and a few creases. R&R COA.
