Lot of two items: a 1969 Presidential Inaugural Ball program, 4 x 6, signed on the back cover in blue ballpoint, “Ronald Reagan”; and a similar-sized Official Guide Book to the 1969 inaugural, unsigned. The signature beneath Reagan’s on the program is that of Bob Finch (Robert H. Finch) who was elected Lt Governor of California in 1966 when Reagan won the governorship. In fine condition, with light scattered soiling. In Nixon's memoir, he claims he first offered the VP slot in 1968 to Finch, who declined and recommended Rogers Morton, who declined and recommended Agnew, who accepted. R&R COA.
