Original signed ink and pencil contour self-portrait drawing of a human figure in a spacesuit, done in preparation for his most famous work entitled That’s How It Felt To Walk On The Moon, on an off-white 11.5 x 19.5 sheet. Drawing depicts the outline of a human figure, surrounded by the confines of a spacesuit and helmet, complete with appropriate tubes. The painting based on this sketch sold at auction in 2000 for $86,000. This particular sketch was purchased directly from Bean during his showing at a gallery in Tuscon, Arizona in 1998. Triple matted and framed to an overall size of 17.25 x 25.5. In fine condition. R&R COA. Oversized.
