Large folio album, 10.25 x 14.5, filled with two hundred-forty signed items (largely First Day Covers) which the previous owner had sent to generals, Admirals and other officers before, during and after WWII for signatures. There are also signed newspaper photos and several letters. Approximately 25 signatures are unidentified. Signers include: Wm. F. Halsey (4), Ernest King (3), William D. Leahy (2), Thomas Kinkaid (6), Admiral Nimitz, Mark Clark (3), Lt. Gen. Curtis LeMay, Gen. George Marshall (2), Lt. Gen. Anthony McAuliffe, James Gavin, William Simpson (2), James Forrestall, Nathan Twining, A.A. Vandergrift (2), Lord Mountbatten, Jonathan Wainright (3), Douglas MacArthur (2), Claire Chennault, A.C. Wedenmeyer, G. Marshall, Lucius D. Clay, Hap Arnold and Omar Bradley (3). In overall very good to fine condition, with minor creasing to some and edge toning to several.
