Exceptional handwritten letter with outstanding content mentioning time spent in Indian territory. In part, “I spent a good deal of last summer in Oklahoma & the Indian Territory - There was a harvest to be reaped down there…I have never been anywhere on this globe where I have found friends to who I have become more attached than I did to some in Alabama.” He also mentions president Theodore Roosevelt: “The President will be here tomorrow morning.” Remainder of the letter deals with the enrollment and education of a family friend, who Mosby helped get into school.
