ALS signed “Ron,” 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, no date, but written after his presidency. An amusing account of Reagan’s letter-reading activities, and how they came about. In part: “I read through all the correspondence with sorrow for you until I came to the good news. I hastily checked dates on the letters to see which came last and then was delighted to know the happy ending—or I should say beginning. Give my best to Mary and go get them.” He also adds a short postscript, “P. S. This is late because I’ve been in the East on the mashed potato circuit & only just returned.” In very fine condition, with expected mailing folds. COA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
