Shot and killed Lee Harvey Oswald, accused assassin of president John F. Kennedy, on November 24, 1963. A Dallas nightclub owner with several minor arrests, he fired his handgun as Oswald was being transferred in the basement garage of Dallas police headquarters; the killing was broadcast on live television. Ruby,” appears at top right, beneath that is the notary public’s inclusion of Ruby’s name, then Ruby signs again “Jack L. Ruby” on the “sworn to and subscribed” line.
