Of course, best remembered for his role as The Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz. He later remarked "After 'The Wizard of Oz' I was typecast as a lion, and there aren't all that many parts for lions." Great glossy 8 x 10 close-up photo of Lahr at age 82, wearing a checked jacket and matching cap, signed in purple/red ink. Date stamp on the reverse reads “May 17, 1967.” Lahr passed away on December 4th of that year. In fine condition, with a couple of areas of faint discoloration in the left border.
