Great close-up photo of Bert Lahr, taken just months before his death

Of course, best remembered for his role as The Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz. He later remarked "After 'The Wizard of Oz' I was typecast as a lion, and there aren't all that many parts for lions." Great glossy 8 x 10 close-up photo of Lahr at age 82, wearing a checked jacket and matching cap, signed in purple/red ink. Date stamp on the reverse reads “May 17, 1967.” Lahr passed away on December 4th of that year. In fine condition, with a couple of areas of faint discoloration in the left border. PSA/DNA COA and R&R COA.
