TLS, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, Sammy Davis Enterprises letterhead, October 30, 1966. An explanation as to why Sammy personally answered many of his admirers. In part: “The greatest reward a performer has is learning that his work is appreciated and enjoyed by the public. That is why it is so inspiring to answer my many friends with such deep respect. May I take this opportunity to express my very best wishes to you.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. In fine condition, with mailing folds, light creasing and a trivial tear to the top, and a light smudge to the signature. R&R COA.
