Best remembered as Birmingham Brown, Charlie Chan’s chauffeur in a number of films, Moreland was a talented and prolific character actor with great comic timing who appeared in hundreds of films. Vintage glossy candid 3.5 x 6 full-length photo of Moreland in a suit, tie, fedora and holding his coat over his arm and a cigar between his teeth, signed in blue ink. He adds “Best of luck.” In fine condition, with scattered surface impressions due to adhesive residue on the reverse from a previous mounting, a couple of minor surface marks and image slightly faded.
