Ford is driven to accept a museum donation: “Items such as this are of real interest to our collection, and it gives me pleasure to accept the music for safekeeping in the Museum”

TLS, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, November 28, 1938. Letter to Henry Sullivan. In full, “I wish personally to acknowledge and thank you for your recent gift of the copy of ‘The Ford March and two-Step’ by Harry H. Zickel. Items such as this are of real interest to our collection, and it gives me pleasure to accept the music for safekeeping in the Museum.” Mailing fold through the tops of three letters of the signature, otherwise fine condition.
