Bells answers a call for his autograph

Scottish-born scientist and educator who invented the telephone, founded the Bell Telephone Company, and invented various aids for teaching the deaf. TLS, one page, 8 x 10.5, Beinn Bhreagh letterhead, August 6, 1920. Bell complies with an autograph request. In full, “In response to your request for my autograph I have pleasure in handing it to you hereon.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. In fine condition, with bisecting mailing folds, one through a single letter of middle name; the type of the letter is fairly light but the signature, in contrast, very bold.
