Prime minister of Israel from 1969–74. TLS in English, two pages, 8.75 x 11, The Prime Minister letterhead, May 29, 1969. A letter to Albert Soffa. In part: “Invite you to the first meeting of the International Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister…in Jerusalem…at the Economic Conference in Jerusalem in April 1968 that was convened by my distinguished predecessor, the late Levi Eshkol…Since the conference, the regional and professional committees on various continents have been engaged in an intensive follow-up to the Conference…While we are naturally burdened as a first priority with the maintenance of our security and the struggle for peace, we dare not for a moment divert our attention from the crucial need of maintaining and expanding Israel’s economic momentum…” Accompanied by an explanatory note from Mr. Stoffa. In fine condition, with a set of staple holes in the upper left corner, a couple of mild creases. R&R COA.
