Rare letter from the Titanic’s Chief radio operator, who went down with the ship

Chief radio operator aboard the Titanic, he remained at his post until minutes before the ship went down. Phillips was lost at sea and his body never recovered. ALS signed “Jack,” one page, 5.5 x 3.5, May 6, 1911. Picture postcard from Port-Tewik, Suez, to his sister. In full, “Port Suez leaving now for Port Sudan. Very warm.” Phillips also addresses the correspondence, with his last name appearing in the address panel. In fine condition. R&R COA.
