ALS signed “Ron,” one page, 6 x 9, July 1, 1968. Letter to Michigan Governor George Romney organizing a meeting at the Miami convention. In full, “Just a line to thank you once again regarding the invitation by your delegation. I don’t believe it would be appropriate to make a special trip so may I suggest meeting with all of you in Miami at convention time? With all of us dedicated to victory it seems to me there should be a communication between delegations for an exchange of views and information.” In fine condition, with a light diagonal ink line through text, not affecting signature or legibility of text.
